Something About Psymbionic

Peep a fresh cut from our own Psymbionic who flips Daft Punk’s “Something About Us” and rubs it down with his characteristic happy sauce. Many remixes simply throw dirt and grime on the original for shock value, but this one updates “Something About Us” with an eager twist (while still keeping that Daft Punk melodic flavor). The slinky synth-work and slick beat in this remix should have no problem putting you and your special somebody in a good mood. Go on get bout it.

Send John thanks by looking out for his EP coming soon.

Purple Legacy

Tron Legacy opened last night at midnight, and what better to sweeten your screening party than this laser bass bootleg from ill-esha, featuring samples from Daft Punk’s excellent score and the various preview trailers! Canadian-born producer ill-esha, shortly on the heels of her debut Daly City album Circadian Rhythms, unleashes this 80 bpm slugger for your weekend crates. She enjoys long walks on the studio floor, bass synthesizing, and coloring anything purple, and this tune covers it all! Upcoming releases from ill-esha include the Black Ice EP on Haunted Audio, a single on Street Ritual, a remix for +verb, and a heap of collabs with dubstep badass Antiserum. If you haven’t picked up ill-esha’s latest release “Circadian Rhythms” yet, you should grab it on Addictech!

I don’t have too much time to spend hounding blogs anymore. Between pretending to be busy and actually being busy, there’s not even too many hours in the day to spend on good’ole Bwomp here. But when I have a few extra seconds, I always love taking a whirl through Chrome Land. They seem to be pretty keen on keeping things fresh, while still promoting good talent and solid productions. Here’s a couple things I snagged lately:

Nosaj Thing – IOIO

Starkey – OK Luv (Stagga Remix Instrumental)

Led Zeppelin vs. Rusko vs. Daft Punk vs. Lil Jon (David Starfire Mashup)
