Melodic Brolic
August 17th, 2009
Back in my young raver days, I used to love melodic trance and I’m not ashamed to admit it… okay maybe just a little. But all jokes and cheese aside, there was always something uplifting and intoxicating about melodic synths, emotional piano compositions, and soulful female vocals over an energetic 4/4 electronic kick drum that kept me on the dancefloor for hours (no drugs I promise)! A good beat can move the body, but a good melody can shake the soul. It’s high time to put the peace, love, unity, and respect back into PLUR.
In a time where the appetite for hard and filthy is king, here are some of my favorite soulful melodic dubstep tracks to balance your diet with because the only thing better than a bass-face is a smiling bass-face. :).

Nice! I was wondering if there was anything like this being made. I especially liked “Blinded By The Lights”. Definitely reminded me of those cramped, sweaty parties back in the mid 90s.
