The Face of God

It’s always nice to get a true dose of IDM flavored bass music in our inbox, and this heaping certainly did not disappoint! R/D’s Face of God EP takes us on a melodic journey through distant lands filled with mythical creatures that seem to gyrate to the halftime crunchings of tree bark against combusting metal. Each track tells a different story through sheer musical engineering, as they are far from empty or boring. They seem to spring new life into the washed ears of bassaholics near and far.. what the fuck are we talking about, you ask? Well, give’m a listen!

Road Trippin’

With Summer comes lot of traveling for many folks. Festivals, out of state shows, and outdoors trips.. wherever you’re going, more likely than not, it’ll take a while to get there. As huges fan of listening to mixtapes on long road trips, here’s a couple old favorites and some new spice to make your trip seem a little shorter!

An oldie but a goodie, this first mix by Tipper showcases not only his amazing mixing talents, but also his ungodly scratching abilities.. an ability that seems to allow him to create some of the most textured noises in the scene to this date. Can’t wait for his new album, which has supposedly been forthcoming for a long time.

Freddy Todd is no stranger to the coveted pages of Bwomp Beats.. and for good damn reason! Once again he delivers with his “Lick the Glitch Mix”, filled almost entirely with originals. Great to get you hype when ya start to doze!

Hometown homie Sleek is bustin’ back out onto the scene with a new mixdown chocked full of some of the hottest dubstep tunes around right now, including some originals! Not to be missed!

Denver badboy Seied is no stranger to bass, having helped to pioneer the glitch-hop scene many moons ago. His recent Bass Odyssey mix gives us a great dose of the glitchy drumstep that we all secretly crave..

A while back, we delivered this next mix to you.. but, we really feel like it could use a repost. Eskmo has been known to us through many long nights driving, and for that, he has our thanks..
